The Challenge and Opportunity
With several new clients using the MyVista platform, unique customizations of the MyVista platform were a challenge as the time and resources needed to execute this was simply unavailable, especially at the scale the organization was growing. Apart from UX customizations and enhancements, there was also a need for the platform to support multiple 3rd party integrations. These needs had to be addressed quickly by iWorkGlobal, given they wanted the system to scale with the growth of the business. They needed the perfect engineering partner who could enable these enhancements to provide a quick onboarding turnaround-time for their customers.
The Solution and Results
MyVista by iWorkGlobal is a cloud-based workforce management platform. The organization wanted to improve the efficiency of the system, through an improved cloud strategy. The following changes were built into the MyVista platform to enhance the system:
- A comprehensive dashboard displaying a summary of all workflows
- Product roadmap feature implementation and enhancements via multiple sub-projects
- Working of MyVista platform was restricted to the USA alone before CTG engaged with iWorkGlobal team. CTG developed an overall solution to implement globalization.
- Enhanced automation capabilities improved overall quality and reduced the TCO
- Introduced DevOps process for build and deployment by implementing CI/CD using Azure pipelines. This reduced manual interventions and manual errors.
- Migration of outdated Angular1.x to 10.x to make the solution future-ready
- Improved security-enabled third-party integrations
As a result, there was an increase in the number of users accessing this digital platform for their work. iWorkGlobal achieved a Net Promoter Score® (NPS®) of 57 from all of its clients in the first quarter of 2020, demonstrating the company's dedication to delivering exceptional customer service and a world-class user experience. Working Solutions started selling this solution to their respective clients as a white-labeled solution and this produced a revenue stream for them.
Future Enhancements
iWorkGlobal and CTG continue their engagement in enhancing the product features and improving integrations & scalability. This includes the addition of various new aspects to the platform to improve its versatility in this space. There are also plans for integrating MyVista with a product from Velocity Global with the help of Elixir and ReactJs
