Challenge
Resolian is experiencing rapid growth and increased technology demands due to recent mergers and acquisitions. To support the resulting accelerated enterprise expansion, they sought a partner to help stand up the technical environment for one of their offices, implement cyber and digital asset management solutions, and enhance company-wide collaboration in an environment that now encompasses three continents and multiple time zones.
Solution
One of Resolian’s leaders collaborated with CTG almost 30 years ago on a successful project. As a result of this successful partnership, three decades later, CTG was enlisted to support the technical needs for Resolian’s expanding team and the increasing demands of the pharmaceutical industry.
CTG’s guidance was requested to support enterprise projects, including:
- Updating Corporate IT Department Standards and Governance. CTG conducted an enterprise-wide assessment and provided recommendations to transform Resolian’s technology and modernize its network and server systems.
- Guiding Enterprise Transitional Service Technology Requirements. CTG provided support and guidance for the planning of the Transitional Service Agreement (TSA) period, analysis of the acquired company’s infrastructure, and planning for the build of a new network and infrastructure that would support the separation of data and systems from the seller.
- Implementing Customized Digital Asset Management Solution. CTG built and implemented a SharePoint based digital asset solution, allowing the marketing team to safely and securely collaborate on and share assets across the global organization.
- Aligning IT Systems Across the Enterprise. CTG supported Microsoft 365 (M365) implementation, migration, and the governance necessary to centralize all IT systems on one platform.
- Monitoring and Managing Security Devices and Systems. Cybersecurity has remained at the forefront of this project. CTG continues to monitor and manage security devices and systems, intrusion detection systems and firewalls, patch management, upgrades, performance security assessments and security audits, and responds to emergencies.
Results
CTG helped Resolian improve technology, collaboration, and security across three continents–on time and on budget. As a result of CTG’s cybersecurity support, new standards were implemented that have allowed Resolian to progress toward achieving the necessary cyber insurance, with the support of M365 and Cyber Essential accreditation.
