Lifecycle Biotechnologies are “the beginning of the lifecycle of the lifesaving and life-enhancing medical products used today”. They take their role as a life sciences tools and service supplier very seriously as they fully understand the critical role their products play in many of the world’s leading pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biologics, cell- and tissue-based products and many other medical products.

The Challenge and Opportunity

Lifecycle Biotechnologies had multiple systems internally where the financial data was managed using on-prem QuickBooks, customer data using Zoho CRM, and spreadsheets, but they didn’t have a way to consolidate everything and get a holistic view. Therefore, they approached CTG to find a solution to untangle complicated financial data and have a single source of truth.

The Solution and Results

CTG business intelligence dashboard solution, imPowerBI, was customized for Lifecycle Biotechnologies’ needs to integrate with their QuickBooks, Zoho, and spreadsheets to create a unified financial dashboard. It allows access to the report dashboard by authenticating their users against their Active Directory and provides an anonymous intranet page for them to convey the company news and other information to the employees.
