Client is a global entertainment media brand and fan-trusted source in entertainment that allows fans to explore, contribute to, and celebrate the world of pop culture. They mainly focus on attracting social media audiences who are fan(s) of artists/celebrities/movies and would like their favorite fandom(s) to be on top of their list.
The Challenge and Opportunity
A novel entertainment fandom platform was looking for a centralized solution to help build a comprehensive application that will strengthen the fandom community and bring them all under a single umbrella. In addition to social media connect, they also wanted an engagement factor in the form of trivia, competitions and reward systems to keep things interesting. Moreover, the entire solution had to generate and present analytical reports as well as be cost-effective, auditable and scalable.
The Solution and Results
CTG created a vibrant Mobile application (iOS & Android) for the client which is not only engaging but interactive and encourages users to explore more content. It also plays a vital role in encouraging fandoms and groups to engage as well as interact via games & competitions. The system makes use of Artificial Intelligence to automate image validation of the uploaded contents using Google Vision API. The application developed scores high on aesthetics as well as utility. The client was offered with a multitude of benefits that help manage reports, groups, regulate content and much more. Leveraging an array of robust technologies like Azure Search Services, Google Vision API, to name a few, the system today manages around 30 million posts, 250 contests, and 100 trivia games.
Future Enhancements
CTG continue to upgrade the application constantly. Currently, the client is looking at improving its market presence by upgrading its customer engagement and enhancing its competitive edge. For instance, we’re currently working on a novel application which has already gone livewith its alpha version for select audience and will be working on enhancing the app in the coming days
