Doctors, nurses, and other health clinicians have their hands full battling the COVID-19 pandemic, especially when it comes to getting personal protective equipment and taking care of themselves.
Tanya Johnson, Managing Director, Testing Solutions North America, and Dana Bensinger, Client Solution Executive, talked with MedPage Today about the effects of the virus on hospital's electronic health record systems.
"Because it's new -- the nature of it -- it's hard to gauge what to put in place to address it," said Johnson. "Healthcare, by nature, does a lot of manual testing still ... and there are some great tools out there companies can leverage to increase their coverage and ... making sure normal workflows work well and also those that are unique and coming in quickly."
