CTG Announces Passing of John Courtney, Executive Pivotal in Company's Early Years
John Courtney
July 29, 1936–October 18, 2023
With deep respect and gratitude, CTG remembers John "Jack" Courtney, esteemed CTG executive and civic activist, who helped shape our Company's foundation and left his indelible mark on the Buffalo community. Jack, as he was known to his family, friends, and colleagues, passed away on October 18, 2023. He was 87.
Jack was an executive at CTG in our Company's early years—from 1968 to 1993. In 1984, he was named the Company's President and Chief Operating Officer.
Today, we are thankful for his pivotal role at CTG and for all he did to set our Company on the right path in those early days. We extend our deepest condolences to Jack's family, friends, and those who knew in the Buffalo community that he called home.
