Working with a number of the client's cross-functional project, technical, and disclosure teams, CTG initially developed 27 new DMS application functions over a 20 month period. The four-month User and Operational Acceptance Test phases give some insight into the complexity of the development work required. 415 working days from work commencement, the client’s customized DMS application went live.
Since initial go-live, CTG has continued to provide DMS enhancements to our client, including a new Machine-To-Machine Application Protocol Interface (API) upgrade, required to support direct LEA connectivity. The new API interface requirements brought the total of new User Interface functions to thirty. Today, the DMS instance remains robust, stable and valuable and continues to play a critical role in the prevention of crime, saving lives, and supporting the LEA network. To date, our client's instance of DMS has received, and successfully processed, more than 20K disclosure requests from LEAs.
