Most weekdays, I start my day off at by going to the gym for a 5 a.m. class. On the weekends, I allow myself to sleep in and go to the 7 or 8 a.m. class. I have to get it in first thing or it won’t happen! I have been doing boot camp for close to four years, and generally, I make it there about five days a week.

After the gym, I wind down with a cup of coffee and get ready to go to work. The first thing I do when I get to the office is respond to emails and get myself prepared for the day ahead. As the Training Advisor, my job is very flexible and much of what I do depends on what is happening in the company. I may have new hires to train or I may be conducting a WebEx session, designing a class, or working on compliance reports….fun right?! Everyone loves when I send out the “nasty grams” about overdue compliance training!

What I do in the evening depends on the season. Living in Buffalo, I hibernate in the winter. I don’t like the cold, so most of the time I am at home watching TV or scrapbooking. In the summer, I might go for a walk, a bike ride, or hang out by the waterfront to watch the sunset. I love being outside in the nice weather! On the weekends, you will find me on my boat enjoying the warmth of the sun and the fun of the water or at a festival, people watching and enjoying the music.

I am so grateful to have found CTG. I love the flexibility my position gives me. I am the type of person that excels when I have a large variety of things to do and that is exactly what this position provides. I enjoy training others, but it can be draining as can design work. So, having the ability to do a number of different things really lends itself to this position. I work with an amazing group of people and hope that I will be able to retire from CTG.
