Company title:
Solution Architect
Years at CTG:
7 Years
Hometown:
Dallas, Texas
Current City:

Favorite Thing to Do Outside of Work:
Playing with my best buddy, Dante. He’s an Australian cattle dog (also known as a Blue Heeler) and without doubt the most intelligent and friendliest dog I’ve ever owned.
Favorite Song Right Now:
“Baba O’Riley” by The Who, my favorite band. Sadly, I’m stuck in the early 1970s from a musical perspective.

I start my day at about 6:30 a.m. by grinding beans for the substantial amount of coffee I drink each day. Usually, I start each day by catching up on email and planning the specific tasks I need to accomplish that day. As a veteran project manager, it’s safe to say that I’m very task-oriented.

My afternoon varies based on work priorities, but often I will spend it developing sales and marketing collateral or engagement proposals.

On a typical evening, my girlfriend and I binge-watch a TV series on Netflix or HBO. I’m an avid reader so I spend the last hours of the day on my Kindle.

What I like most about CTG is that I’m provided with ample opportunities to leverage my experience in a variety of ways, such as crafting a solution architecture for an information management opportunity, developing proposals, writing whitepapers, conducting sales presentations, and managing client engagements. I’m not pigeon-holed into a tightly defined role at all. The best career advice I can offer is to never underestimate the importance of solid oral and written communication skills, particularly the latter.
