CTG Promotes John Laubacker to Chief Financial Officer

Seasoned Financial Executive Assumes Key Leadership Role

John LaubackerBUFFALO, N.Y., April 27, 2017CTG, a leading provider of information technology (IT) solutions and services in North America and Western Europe, announced today that John Laubacker has assumed the role of Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer, effective April 21, 2017, concurrent with the resignation of Brendan Harrington, the Company’s previous Chief Financial Officer.

Laubacker, based in Buffalo, New York, will oversee the Company’s Finance, Accounting, Investor Relations, Information Technology, and Administrative Support organizations, and play a crucial role in the development and implementation of CTG’s corporate and financial strategies. He will also serve on the Company’s executive team and report directly to CTG’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Bud Crumlish.

“John is an accomplished executive with significant financial and operation expertise, including his previous service as CTG’s Interim CFO. His appointment reflects his successful track record at, and deep knowledge of, CTG as well as his strong financial and operational acumen,” said Crumlish.

He is highly qualified to take on the role of CFO and I am confident that under his financial leadership, CTG will continue to make positive strides toward our growth objectives,” Crumlish continued.

Laubacker, a CPA, joined CTG in 1996 and has held a number of positions during his more than 20 years of service to the Company, most recently Vice President and Treasurer. He also served as Interim CFO from October 2014 to April 2015. In his most recent position, he was responsible for all of the Company’s Treasury and related functions, acted as the Corporate Controller, managed the Company’s stock repurchase program, administered the company's equity-based compensation plans and certain executive benefit programs, was a trustee of the Company's 401(k) plan, and supported the Investor Relations program.

Prior to joining CTG, Laubacker served as an Assurance Senior Manager for KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York. He maintains membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of CPA’s, the Institute of Internal Auditors, and previously served as a Trustee for the Western New York and Finger Lakes Region of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
