CTG won 'So You Think You Can Demo', a contest organised by
Microsoft BeLux to mark the launch of the new Office 365. CTG took
first place with a presentation showing how Office 365 allows users
to optimise communication, collaboration, and productivity in an
innovative and flexible way.
For this presentation, CTG developed a demo based on the CTG
framework for enterprise information management using SharePoint
(learn more by reading CTG's free SharePoint
publication). This framework is now being used in collaboration
with the customer to construct an independent Office 365
environment within the Microsoft cloud. That independent
environment successfully ensured smooth and flexible collaboration,
both internally and externally. The new environment uses various
options available in the new Office 365 suite, including the much
appreciated communication software Lync, which offers
functionalities such as online messaging, telephony, and online
video conferencing.
CTG's award-winning demo will be one of the highlights on view
during CTG Experience Day in the Montil in Affligem (Essene) on 20
October 2011.
Microsoft will officially launch Office 365 (including the cloud
versions of SharePoint, Exchange, Office Professional Plus, and
Lync) very shortly.
