CTG Risk Profile Manager
Adds the Shared Assessments Program SIG Questionnaires as a
Resource
BUFFALO, N.Y. -- June 29, 2011 -- CTG, an international
information technology (IT) solutions and services company,
announced today it has joined the Shared Assessments Program as a
Software Licensee and added its SIG (Standardized Information
Gathering) questionnaires to its
vendor risk assessment and management software solution, the
CTG
Risk Profile Manager (RPM). CTG RPM provides
organizations with more effective and efficient
vendor risk assessment and management.
"The maturity and industry acceptance of the SIG questionnaires
make their availability as a resource within RPM a natural fit,"
said Michael Beekey, Managing Director, CTG Security
Solutions. "The ability for organizations to use RPM to
distribute and process SIG questionnaires from their vendors and
suppliers significantly reduces the manual effort normally
required. RPM's ability to also intelligently process the results
of the questionnaires as part of its risk scoring processes further
increases the value of using the SIG questionnaires."
"We commend CTG for incorporating the Shared Assessments Program
security standards of global industry organizations into its
products," said Catherine A. Allen, Chairman and CEO of The Santa
Fe Group. The Santa Fe Group manages the Shared Assessments
Program. "By licensing the Shared Assessments Tools, CTG has
demonstrated its commitment to meeting client security and vendor
risk assessment needs."
CTG RPM is a versatile solution that supports enterprise
vendor risk management across multiple industries. It is an
especially valuable tool for financial services companies, which
are subject to regulatory requirements to have a formal vendor risk
management program. CTG RPM is being leveraged by multiple roles
within organizations outside of enterprise vendor risk management
including contracts, finance, audit, legal, and IT.
CTG RPM's ability to leverage third-party data and combine it
with information from organizations' vendors allows organizations
to easily identify at-risk vendors and take appropriate action. CTG
RPM is unique in that it provides continuous monitoring and updates
of the data, providing organizations with a "real-time" view of the
overall health and risk-level of the vendor, and allowing alerts
and notifications to be automatically generated. CTG RPM supports
the "real time" monitoring of vendors through a comprehensive
dashboard view, which displays overall vendor risk, alerts, and
status of the vendor management lifecycle.
