CTG's
EC/EDI practice provides high-level
consulting services to analyze client business processes and recommend
strategies to enable or expand e-commerce solutions. CTG implementation services include
design and mapping of business documents into and from EDI universal
standards (ANSI X12, UN/EDIFACT) or industry-specific standards
(including XML), as well as any data structures unique to client
business requirements.
Through our intensive
experience with the major industries that require EDI-enabled
processes, CTG significantly reduces costs often
associated with EDI, saving some companies in excess of $1 million
dollars annually.
In collaboration with ERP analysts, CTG
EDI experts work to construct data interfaces to and from business
systems, enabling them to send and receive transactions from the
EC/EDI application. Using graphical BPML tools we create business
processes that integrate unique business rules with the EDI
translation, providing comprehensive,
start-to-finish processing for standard business
documents.
CTG is a
vendor-neutral solution provider. We have experience with multiple
vendors' tool sets and communication packages, and virtually all the value-added networks, or VANs.
We work with the environment already in place at our customer sites.
For customers initiating EDI capabilities, CTG
utilizes our proprietary Joint Technology Selection methodology to
identify the tools required to comply with requirements, including
translation and communication software and relationships with
VANs.
